Subject: A good effort deserves praise.
A well-made example of what is available in the stock footage collections. Only selections, but chosen in such a way as to highlight the broad spectrum of footage from the early and mid-20th century. Many scenes from around Los Angeles, with San Francisco, New York, and London. This short film should serve only as an introduction to the very large collections open for use by scholars and artists. But it does that one job very well, with a few witty titles thrown in for extra credit. My congratulations to the makers!
